while vacation isn't what it used to be when i was a kid and not busy acting like a full-time grown-up, i feel like my time gets used more wisely now.
this week involved: visiting my gpa in illinois (he is nearly 89, so i never feel like i have enough time with him), shadowing a cardiologist, lots of reading, fixing lights and fixtures, taking down christmas lights (or should i just call them winter lights?), baby shower shopping, vacuuming and washing the car, moving a desk upstairs, multiple errands and cleanings... unfortunately i still have yet to do taxes. :(
today i finally felt like i got a vacation. a wonderful bubble bath with candles and a good read does wonders. thank you angela k, for the rubber ducky!!
