This has been a fantastic week! Gotta admit... part of it has to do with the fact that I leave for Antarctica in less than 2 weeks now. Yikes-a-bee as a good ole movie quoter would say.
So many thoughts are racing now and have been that I have had little time to sit down and synthesize it all. People keep asking me what's going on in life and I scratch my head as if puzzled and can't even remember a quarter of all that I know I'm doing right now. That means I'm too busy, but ah well, I like being busy - wouldn't have it any other way. I just need like a planner to stand next to me and tell me... "Abbie, stop dreaming." I have so many ideas. It hasn't been like that since college, so it's exciting to have the dreamer back. Super excited to have dreams again, and reading Yaconelli's Dangerous Wonder book really helped. Yet I can't do it all - so prioritizing and being disciplined is key. I need to be at least somewhat practical though and do what I dream about.
Hahaha. Oh it's all so funny. I can't believe I'll be so near the South Pole in two weeks. It's FANTASTIC!! CRAZINESS! Yikes-A-BEEE!
PS - Habbakuk is a great book by the way. Oh and a study Bible just makes it better.
