It sunk in at that moment, at many moments when I doubt myself - that this is exactly where God wants me to be. He has purposed me, planned me, even pulled me to this place. While I struggle with feeling adequate at times - He knows all and has placed in me all the tools I need to complete His task. Likewise as I anticipate Katie Middlestead's (my undergraduate mentor and the former associate director for Spartan Christian Fellowship) big venture to the Philippines on Monday (for 3 years!!) I am excited because I know that God is drawing her to where she can be used most for His Kingdom. While it's an adjustment to finally BE in medical school where I am being challenged and stretched, and while it'll be another adjustment to see Katie leave to BE in the Philippines for 3 years - I KNOW that we are where HE would have us. Like Dr. Stephenson said, letting go of your life = letting God work.
